Why a handheld version is needed
A fixed counter-UAV system protects a known site well. But when forces must move — protecting a delegation, responding to an unfolding situation — they need equipment that can be carried and deployed within seconds.
Legal constraints
Suppression transmitters are subject to radio frequency management and are supplied only to competent authorities. Activation must follow an approved procedure, after the target has been confirmed as an unauthorised aircraft.
